Fried rice is a global Indonesian specialty. There are many variants of fried rice, seafood fried rice, village fried rice, petai fried rice, and mutton curry fried rice. Here we present the mutton curry fried rice recipe.
Ingredients:
300 grams of cooked white rice
(cooked)
150 grams of mutton, thinly
sliced
75 grams of carrots, cut into
small cubes
50 grams of sweet beans, cut 1
cm
1 tablespoon of ghee
1 ½ tablespoon of cooking oil
Seasonings:
3 pieces of lime leaves
1 lemongrass, crushed
½ cm ginger, crushed
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
2 red onions, bruised
¼ teaspoon powdered turmeric
1 ½ tablespoons of curried
powder
¾ teaspoon ground pepper
¾ teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
How to make:
- Prepare white rice. Heat cooking
oil to saute lime leaves, lemongrass, ginger, and onions until fragrant. Once
fragrant, add the mutton, carrots and green beans and cook until the meat
changes color.
- Then add the white rice and
stir well.
- After the spices and rice are
well blended, add ghee, turmeric powder, curry powder, pepper and salt. Stir
again until smooth.
- Add soy sauce, stir well.
cook the rice until it's steamy and cooked.
- Goat curry fried rice is
ready to be served.
