Causes of oily face and how to reduce oil levels on the face

 

Oily faces are found on the skin of women all over the world. Sometimes, oily skin has problems when it comes to appearance. The face becomes dull quickly and make-up does not last long. In addition, the face has excess oil content which causes discomfort for the owner of an oily face.

Actually, oil on the face has benefits. The oil on the face functions to keep the skin moisturized on your face. There are several factors that cause your facial skin to be excessively oily, namely:

1. Unhealthy lifestyle.



Smoking can increase oil levels on facial skin. When you inhale a cigarette, the cigarette can trigger the skin to activate the sebaceous glands which function as oil producers in facial skin. So, the embers in cigarettes generate heat in the skin, so that the skin triggers the glands to produce oil levels.

2. Food.



Eating fatty foods can cause oil levels and acne on the skin.

3. Weather.



Just as we mentioned in point 1, heat can cause the sebaceous glands to produce excess oil. For this reason, why in hot weather, our facial skin shiny quickly.

4. Genetic.



When we have oily facial skin. Try to check the condition of our parents' skin, usually oily skin was passed on by our parents, who are also oily skin.

5. Hormonal.



Hormonal imbalances can lead to oily skin. This is commonly experienced by adolescents who are in puberty or pregnant women.


We cannot get rid of the oil content in the skin to the maximum, what is clear, we can reduce the excess oil. By washing your face regularly, of course with a special soap for oily skin and eating foods that are not fatty, it can prevent you from getting excess oil on the skin. As for herbal ingredients that can reduce oil levels that interfere with your facial appearance, are as follows:

1. Celery leaves.



The method is very easy. Cut a few stalks of celery leaves that have been washed. Place the celery chunks in a saucepan filled with boiling water and let it steep for 15-20 minutes. Turn off the stove. Let it cool for about 20-30 minutes. Wash your face using the celery water and leave it to dry. After soaking into your facial skin, rinse with clean water. For maximum results, use it once every 2 days.

2. Apples.



Use 1 apple to help reduce oily levels on your skin. Cut the apples and then blend without using water. Apply on face that has been cleaned first. Let stand for 20 minutes. Clean your face with warm water, then continue with cold water. Do it once a week.

3. Cucumber.



Take 1 cucumber and divide 4 lengthwise. Rub the inside of the cucumber to the face. Let stand 10-15 minutes. Clean with warm water and wipe with a clean towel. Apply a facial moisturizer.
